Description
Exceptional two-drawer commode in tortoiseshell and brass marquetry, in the manner of André-Charles Boulle. Oak carcass, veneer of tortoiseshell and engraved brass forming foliate scrolls.
Original gilt bronzes: corner mounts in the form of satyrs, sheathed feet, ring handles with rosettes.
Dimensions: H. 87 cm — W. 128 cm — D. 62 cm
Condition: Very good overall condition, careful early restorations.
